Free Family Fun
The Autry is proud to offer kids’ programs free with museum admission.  Children of all ages enjoy art workshops, storytimes, hands-on history activities, and the opportunity to explore the hands-on Family Discovery Gallery immersion environment.  Make sure to take part in all of the interactive opportunities we offer, from panning for gold to digging for clues to the past, there is fun around every corner! Children under 3 are free, ages 3-12 are $5.

Museum of the American West Griffith Park Campus

Museum & Museum Store
Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (Museum Store is open until 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed Mondays.

All areas of the museum including restrooms are wheelchair accessible.  Free strollers and wheelchairs are available for check out on a first-come, first-served basis.  Audio-guides tours are available for $3 / free for members. 

Golden Spur Cafe
The Golden Spur Cafe at the Autry National Center in Griffith Park is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

Summer Hours: On Thursdays, in July and August, the museum and Museum Store are open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Golden Spur Cafe is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Autry National Center’s Museum of the American West and offices are closed on the following Holidays: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day..

Special Notice
Smoking is prohibited at all facilities and grounds throughout Griffith Park, including the Autry's interior, grounds, and parking lot. This is especially critical given the danger of fire in Griffith Park. Park Rangers will be enforcing the rules and the fines are very steep.

Tickets can be purchased at the museum. Admission is always free for Autry Members and is free to the public on the second Tuesday of every month.

Southwest Museum of the American Indian, Mt. Washington

Please note: The galleries at the Southwest Museum of the American Indian are closed to the public at this time due to extensive rehabilitation of the building and conservation of the Southwest's collection of Native artifacts.
