The Autry National Center celebrates the spirit of community at this year’s Viva el Cinco celebration in honor of Cinco de Mayo. Join us for a festive day with ballet folklorico, mariachis, and charros. You be the judge in our salsa-tasting competition. Our cafe will be open for business with its famous taco bar, and you can learn the secrets of tortilla making through a live demonstration. Engaging activities for children include making papel picado and a scavenger hunt in the museum galleries, which will not only entertain but enlighten visitors about Mexican and Mexican American culture.
